One of the ways the liver deals with impurities is to increase body fat to enfold these impurities and protect the body from their influence.  Diets are not successful for long term weight loss because they don't address the need to cleanse the body of impurities. 

Take a look at the chart below:

The overweight person has impurities that are stored in fat to protect the body. Dieting leads to a smaller body, but an increased percentage of impurities.  The result is REBOUND - the body goes into emergency fat production and the person gains back weight lost (and often gains more weight).

 

    CLEANSING

In this diagram the overweight person has stored impurities in body fat. When cleansing is accomplished, impurities are released from the body.   The result - NO REBOUND and better overall health with less fat and more lean muscle.
